THIS WEEK'S FEATURE STORY

WHEN WILL HUMANS EVER LEARN?

THE WAYS OF MAN TO MAN ARE SO UN-JUST. THE 21 CENTURY HAS SURELY BEEN THE START OF THE WAR FOR THE FREEDOM OF FREENESS. THERE IS NO OTHER NEWS AROUND, THE CLASHES AROUND THE WORLD ECHO INTO OTHER UNIVERSES. STILL THE HUMANS ON THE PLANET EARTH HAVE YET TO HEAR A SOUND, OR THEY ARE TRYING NOT TO HEAR.

THE CLASHES IN THE MIDDLE EAST HAVE TAKEN ON A LIFE FOR ITSELF AND REFUSES TO SEE PEACE BECOME A VOICE. IT IS SO BAD THAT OVER 500 PEOPLE ON BOTH SIDES HAVE LOST THEIR RIGHT TO LIVE ON EARTH. YET THIS BAD FRUIT WOULD HAVE HAD TO MANIFEST BECAUSE PEOPLE WERE UPROOTED TO PLANT A DIFFERENT SPECIES. ANYONE WHO IS TRULY CONSCIOUS OF HISTORY KNOWS THAT THESE TYPES OF ACTIONS TO START WITH ARE BAD SEEDS.

ETHIOPIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS DECIDED TO HIJACK A PLANE IN ETHIOPIA USING GRENADES AND FORCED IT TO TAKE THEM TO SUDAN. THE STUDENTS RELEASED THE PASSENGERS WITHOUT INJURY AND SHORTLY GAVE THEMSELVES UP WITHOUT INCIDENT.

NEWS HAS COME OUT OF SOUTH AFRICA THAT A PLOT TO KILL THE PRESENT LEADER OF THE COUNTRY, PRESIDENT MBEKI, HAS CAUSED GREAT CONCERN. IT IS REPORTED THAT 3 BLACK BUSINESS MEN WERE THE CONSPIRATORS, THOUGH NELSON MANDELA CAME OUT PUBLICLY STATING THAT ALL SHOULD GIVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY INVOLVEMENT. WE ONLY HOPE THAT BLACK PEOPLE WILL REMEMBER THAT YES, WE HAVE HAD MANY SELL OUTS THAT HAVE BECOME THE WEAPONS OF INTRUDERS. AS WELL AS, THAT CERTAIN EVIL FORCES PERPETUATE FALSE ACCUSATIONS TO CAUSE WAR AND MALICE, THIS STRATEGY OF DIVIDE AND RULE IS STILL, SADLY TO SAY, ALIVE.

INDIA IS IN CONFLICT WITH ITS NEIGHBORS ON BOTH SIDES, PAKISTAN AND BANGLADESH. THIS AREA OF THE WORLD HAS BEEN ON A SERIOUS TIT FOR TAT IN MORE RECENT TIMES.

CHINESE HACKERS HAVE CREATED A CYBER WAR WITH AMERICAN WEBSITES WITH THE COMING OF THEIR NATIONAL HOLIDAY ON MAY 1st. THIS SITUATION WITH CHINA AND AMERICA HAVE FORCED MANY SO CALLED "CHINESE-AMERICANS" TO AWAKE TO THE REALITY, THAT EVEN WITH ALL THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS, THAT THERE ARE CERTAIN AMERICANS THAT HAVE THE SAME FOOLISH MENTALITY TOWARDS THEM AS THEY HAVE FOR THE REST OF THE SO CALLED "AFRICAN AMERICANS, INDIAN-AMERICANS, MEXICAN-AMERICANS, AND SO FORTH AND SO FORTH."

NOW HERE IN THE BELLY OF THE BEAST, AMERICA, POLICE NOW HAVE THE RIGHT TO ARREST ANYONE FOR SMALL TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS. THIS WAS DICTATED BY THE SUPREME COURT IN A 5 TO 4 DECISION. STRANGE TO KNOW THAT THIS CAME DOWN AFTER POLICE KILLED TIMOTHY THOMS, A BLACK YOUTH IN CINCINNATI FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS WHICH CAUSED THE RACIAL VOLCANO TO ERUPT.

FINALLY, THE 4 OFFICERS WHO KILLED AMADOU DIALLO IN THE BRONX , AND WERE FOUND NOT GUILTY OF SHOOTING HIM 41 TIMES, THREE OF THE OFFICERS WERE ALSO ACQUITTED OF N.Y.P.D DEPARTMENTAL CHARGES ON THURSDAY. THE FOURTH OFFICER QUIT BEFORE HE COULD GO UP FOR THE HEARING AND IS NOW EMPLOYED WITH THE NY CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT. SO ALL SHOULD KNOW, ESPECIALLY THE "AFRICAN-AMERICANS", THAT THEY CAN BE KILLED OR ARRESTED FOR JUST ABOUT ANYTHING, AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF JIM CROW.

WITH ALL THIS IN MIND WE FOUND IT WORTHY TO BRING TO YOU THIS DOCUMENT FROM THE AFRICAN NATIONAL SCIENCE MOVEMENT, FORMERLY THE ALKEBU-LAN YOUTH COLLECTIVE.

ISN'T AMERICA A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE?

There always seems to be someone dissatisfied. You can't please everybody. There are those who criticize this country as the worst thing that could be. It might be said, "It's not the country we hate, but the government." But it's the American governmental system that makes this country, the United States, what it is. If you think it's so bad, why don't you leave? Go somewhere else!

People from other parts of the world, who are not as fortunate as we are in growing up here, seem to recognize the value of this place. So many want to come here and live. Some of those who criticize want to set up a different system like in some other countries. But if there is a better system than this one, why do even people from those countries come to the U.S.? America is a great place to live.

Yes, we have problems in America. Some of us are poor. But that is only in comparison to other Americans. In comparison to the large majority of the world, we are well off. You may live in a tenement. How does that compare to people living in a hut or a shack? We can complain about no hot water but easily forget that we have running water, something that most people in the world don't have. And we can work our way out of that tenement into something nicer.

Those of us who are Black and/or Latino face discrimination; this is true. Along with the Native Americans, we are generally at the bottom of the ladder. But look at reality. Educationally, while much improvement is needed, we can read and write to various degrees. Many of us do get an opportunity to go to college and other schools, often with government assistance. Unemployment is highest for us but we have been able to take advantage of welfare. We don't be starving like you hear those reports from other parts of the world.

Look at some of the things we take for granted. You know what it is to go to a movie or an amusement park. The children in our community play with stereo equipment. We got TV's, some color and even cable. Often, we like to complain about being kept down, but at the same time, we can afford to be in style, right down to our sneakers. In our neighborhoods it's often hard to find parking space. And to top it off, we can criticize the government; talk about the president in public if you want to; print newspapers or write books or hold meetings to talk about how the system is bad and should be changed. Most of the rest of the world ain't got it like that.

So recognizing all this, how can I say, "I hate America!"? How is it that anyone could believe that America is the chief representative of the most backward, decadent, monstrous society that history has ever known. What needs to be clearly outlined is how America is capable of providing all of those privileges.

The wealth of the present-day Western World was gotten from stolen labor on stolen land. The exploration-colonization-enslavement-expansion process of European Nations (England, Spain, France, Portugal, and others) coming out of their Pale Ages (also known as the Middle or Dark Ages) must be remembered. This process changed the European World from what it was, basically an economically as well as culturally undeveloped region on the western tip of Asia. In a few hundred years, it was transformed into the center of the modern-day world.

Keep in mind that land is the the basis and human labor is the necessary ingredient for obtaining all things relevant to human existence (except for things like air and sunlight). The process of European expansion resulted in their gaining control over lands far greater than that of Europe itself. It resulted in the creation of new countries like the U.S.A., extensions of the Euro-Western World. Conquered peoples work for them and some were even kidnapped and brought to other lands to work. Now we can begin to see how they got where they are.

Let's go into a little more detail. In territory, this country is the fourth largest in the world and unlike the Soviet Union (European expansion into non-european Asia), Canada, or China, the majority of the U.S. is productively livable. The availability of land like this greatly multiplied the potential for increasing the wealth of an expanding European society. But this expansion did not occur innocently. It meant genocide against the existing rightful owners of these lands. In the America's (North, South, Central, and the Caribbean) the Native American People (so-called Indians--Columbus was lost; thought he was in India) were systematically exterminated. In the U.S.A., all but a relatively few were wiped out and those who are left are still under threat of extinction.

Newly acquired land meant a need for labor if there was to be an increase in wealth. Enslavement of the Native Americans didn't work out. In their own land, the Native's spirit fiercely defied enslavement, fighting, dying, or escaping into land they knew, which was largely unfamiliar to the Whites. Also, large numbers of Native Americans died from diseases carried by Europeans. The need for group labor, which creates larger sums of wealth, could not be adequately met by White persons brought from Europe to work. This is because as long as there was plenty of land to expand into, many would want to individually set up shop for themselves. The colonizing Europeans turned to African labor.

The trade in captured African People who were sold as slaves became the key ingredient that made the Euro-Western World prosper from these newly conquered lands. This whole process was even okayed by the European religious sector, Christian and Jew alike. The Pope said it was cool. Again, it meant genocide, in this case, for African people. More of us were killed in the process of slave catching, slave trading and "slave making", then are here right now in this country. The continent of Africa was significantly de-populated and is now under-populated! But the labor power of Black People, physical and also mental, provided the basic wealth needed to launch the European (including American) Industrial Revolution.

The Americas were not the only lands that they took over. Look on the map and compare those colonial powers of Europe with Africa or Asia. Now comprehend the fact that these powers sat down at a conference (Berlin-1884) and divided Africa up like a pie. They took pieces of China. They even gave away other people's land like they gave much of Palestine away to European Jews to set up the Zionist state of Israel. How does this even sound: French Indo-China, Belgian Congo, British West Indies, etc.

Let's bring it up to date. Why do most of the underdeveloped countries (mostly non-white) seem to need help from America and/or other Western Powers? American people often get souped-up in believing that they are the beneficent, generous saviors of the world. But the relations that this country has with the poorer nations are designed to make the Americans richer, especially the ruling class, There is a direct connection between the rich and poor nations. The rich nations got rich by making the poor nations poor! The Euro-Western World underdeveloped, under-cut the Non-Western World. Most of the war and starvation in the world today has its roots in the exploration-colonization-enslavement-expansion process. The resources that should be used for most peoples' development in different parts of the world goes to help maintain the expansion of the European World. The United States alone has less than 6% of the world's population and uses over 60% of the world's natural resources.

American "democracy" is built in such a way that the illusion of rule by the people covers the reality of rule by the rich for profit. The American society is so powerful that it can manipulate information to present a "good guy" image of itself. It is so rich that it can share with its citizens a bit of the loot that comes from its plunder of the world. It is so affluent that it can tolerate a certain amount of criticism and dissent. But, the luxuries of this so-called freedom are based on much evil.

This degenerate society is even the enemy of its own people and life in general. There was no problem of pollution in the air and water, even the oceans as large as they are, before the European climb to world power. The Ozone Layer of the atmosphere, which protects life on Earth from the ultra-violet radiation of the Sun, is being destroyed. And how many species of life are now endangered or extinct just like the nations of people that no longer exist, due to the greed and madness of this domination? Nonrenewable natural resources are being wasted at rapid rates, and for what? Chemical and biological warfare experimental disaster may be around the corner. And when before in history has the possibility for total human destruction existed (nuclear arms race)?

I will lightly touch on the cultural contradictions. Many African and Native American People don't even know who we are any more. We speak English or Spanish or maybe French or Portuguese, some European language. We think of our history as having begun during the last four or five hundred years, when we were "discovered" in the European colonial process. Many of us badly want to be White. Some of us think we Spanish. Some want to be British. Some think we French. Here in the U.S., many of us strongly want to be American. You lost your freedom. You lost your culture. Have you lost your mind?

Why should we love America? It offers no long range security for you and your people. What we enjoy here is based on the suffering of our people, and that's messed up! Are you so selfish that you need to wait until they take all the privileges and freedom away from you before you reject America? Know assuredly that if and when it becomes profitable, you can be gotten rid of. Remember Thanksgiving? The Natives helped them survive the winter, but when they were no longer needed, they were iced!

To my people of African Ancestry and those of Native American Ancestry, regardless of whether we speak English or Spanish or French or whatever, this society was built from land and labor stolen from us. Yes, I also recognize that I am to a large degree spoiled by this material affluence, but that don't change the nature of America. Why don't I leave? Where can I run. They control most of the world. There is a big job to do, freeing the minds of our people right here and making preparations for our future freedom. We must struggle for our self-determination, our control over our own lives as nations of people. This is of the utmost importance because we still face the reality of genocide.

So if you think that America is a great place to live, remember how it got so great. You should have no love affair with America because hers is the kiss of death!!!

U.S. BOOTED OFF THE U.N. COMMITTEE OF HUMAN RIGHTS

The capitalistic world has been dealt heavy blows in the past week.  The destructive "May Day" rioting in countries like England and Germany were prime examples of the dismay youths have with present day politics of these nations.  Also, various college campuses in the US have had ongoing protests against wrongs committed by their respective institutions.  For example, Penn State students are rallying against racial intolerance on campus and Harvard University students are protesting against the low wages that the school pays its employees, when it has a multi-billion dollar endowment.

To top all of this off, the US came up 14 votes short of retaining its seat on the Human Rights Commission. America has occupied a seat since the day of its birth and is feeling belittled that countries like Sudan have been given a seat on the Commission.  Being booted off of the Commission is also a signal to the Americans that its hypocritical denouncements of other countries Human Rights records, while its own has much to be desired, will force Americans to take note of their ways.  Many Americans are still thumbing their nose at the UN as can be seen by the response to this action.

InITheBabeandSuckling.com are firm supporters of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and know that with a globalized system, which is inevitable because of technology, will be held and retained as the highest law on Earth.  With this in mind, the full text of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is printed below.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights

On December 10, 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the full text of which appears in the following pages.  Following this historic act the Assembly called upon all Member countries to publicize the text of the Declaration and "to cause it to be disseminated, displayed, read, and expounded principally in schools and other educational institutions, without distinction based on the political status of countries or territories."

UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

PREAMBLE

Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,

Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people,

Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law,

Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,

Whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the charter reaffirmed their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person and in the equal rights of men and women and have determined to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

Whereas Member states have pledged themselves to achieve, in co-operation with the United Nations, the promotion of universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms,

THIS WEEK'S FEATURE STORY

This week's RastafarI Collective is honoring ALL WOMEN for Mother's Day. Motherhood is the most important job we as women have.  We give care not only to our biological children, but to the world in general.  It is a position that should not be taken for granted by females or males.  There have been evil forces, such as Botha's Plan for the Blacks, Planned Parenthood and other programs that have been created for the strict use of destroying Us, Black women, Mothers of ALL on Earth from bringing forth Our nation.  It becomes sinful to know that there are some women in particular that have lost all self-respect and have chosen destructive ends to meet foolish means.  The family structure, irrespective of race, is the most important thing on this Earth.  We would hope that Our men would realize the importance of Us, women and Mothers for without Us, they have no existence.  In countries like India and China, they are killing their baby girls to cut down on their population.  This on the other hand, has brought a shortage of wives for their male children who have now become adults.  Here in the West, the constant neglect, abuse, and harlotting of women is in itself an evil practice that must discontinue.  We as women and Mothers have a right and an obligation to stand to see such wrongs discontinued.  Motherhood does not stop at 18 years old as well as women's lives must not stop because they are mothers, there is balance.  InI would like to conclude with a speech from Our Black Queen Mother, Empress Menen and pray to ALL women and Mothers to have a blessed day.

                                                                                                                                                 Empress Shena

Empress Menen's Speech to the World Women Association

Empress Menen disclosed the aggression to the World Women Association and appealed to all world nation states.

I am pleased to present my speech to all world women.

When Italy conquered Our people and country, the World Women Association supported us to settle with peace and freedom.  We are very happy to express our deep feelings for the association.

When I am speaking now in order to be understood to all countries, my daughter, Princess Tsehay, translated my speech into the English language.

Princess Tsehay translated Our speech as follows:

During this time, Italy conquered us with difficulty, unjustly and world women should hear Our voice.

Even though world women are living in different countries with different climate, all women are interrelated with the same will and objectives.

War is distress and trouble of mankind.  All world women are in different countries, different race, and religion.  The act of violence and war victimized their husbands, brothers, and children.  War is a destruction of the family and can make people immigrants.  So women are against war.

We know that all Italian mothers and barren women may worry about the war, since war is good for nothing.  Therefore, all women found in the world should prevent the war before it brings trouble and distress.  They should collaborate their voice and request to avoid the war before the bloodshed comes on both sides.

Ethiopia does not think to act with violence or to have conflict, her wish is to maintain peace.  Ethiopia tried to settle the conflict peacefully in earlier months.  In every aspect Ethiopia has done her best, so we are mentally free.

Ethiopian people welcome any foreign guests who came to work peacefully and innocently.  Ethiopian peoples' good hospitality to foreigners has been narrated in the history of the world.  However, one state in which is a neighbor to Ethiopia is trying to control and govern.  Ethiopia is always on the line of peace, while the rival state is looking only to its own interest.

The enemy deployed its army and based itself around Our country to kill our women's husbands, children, brothers.  Our people live working peacefully being God fearing, but the enemy is trying to devastate the wealth of the country and destroy Our family in the name of modernization.

We pray to God not to face such kind of distress and destruction, if the so-called modernization brings a big trouble.

Hence, the association which is established for the purpose of peace by world women may exert influence to bring peace and stability.  We do not hesitate to say that the World Women Association may contribute a lot to settle this conflict peacefully.

We pray to God that the association will accomplish its mission.  We hope the act of the association may bring fruitful results to preserve peace and security in Our country.  Nonetheless, if the war is started, we women should treat wounded soldiers and minimize the trouble of war.

Women who are living all over the world who stand for peace may help us during the war time.  We know that these women will assist the sacrificed patriot's family.

All women of the world should struggle to bring peace and justice.  Government officials may be guided on the line of God.  We pray for this and you may collaborate with us.

***On November 18, 1928, His Imperial Majesty King of Kings Haile Selassie I, went to the North battlefield while Empress Menen stayed in Addis Ababa and prepared logistics and sent soldiers to the battlefield.  When the enemy's plane bombed the civilians, she advised the people to take care.  While planes bombed, she traveled by car in the city to advise and encourage the people with courage.  In addition to this, she has been praying and waged spiritual war against the enemy.***

THIS WEEK'S FEATURE STORY

In recent weeks, we have seen our ancestors rise and take their justice due to them.  We speak of the conviction of the then Klu Klux Klan member for the bombing of the 4 little Black girls in a church in Selma, Alabama during the Civil Rights Era and most recently the charges brought on the mayor of York, Pennsylvania for the shooting death of a Black woman during the riots in PA over 20 years ago.

These cases have been pursued by White lawyers with the assistance of the victims' families.  In their pursuit for justice, errors in the FBI have also brought to light issues that Blacks have been speaking of for many years.  In specific, the collection and misuse of information obtained during their so-called investigations.  Some may ask what has spawned such a deep investigation.  The Oklahoma City bombing produced by Timothy McVeigh has surely physically, spiritually, and mentally shaken the White American system to its core.  Its rippling effect has produced more terrorist acts globally than most even understand.  The fear in the society in large amongst the intellectuals and politicians alike is that the disdain of ALL the people is more evident and relevant and their Armed Forces are not prepared to deal with this type of guerilla warfare.  The upperclass is very fearful because they are being attacked from all points, and are beginning to divide amongst themselves by playing the blame game, when all are guilty in some account.

The Israeli and Palestinian war has now crossed into territory, that does not allow peace any entry.  The suicide bomber that attacked shoppers at an Israeli mall has been followed by fighter plane attacks targeted at Palestinians.  The lamentation of people globally has now caused more division in the hierarchy by having friendly nations of the west, Jordan and Egypt, recommend suspending all agreements with Israel until the violence stops.  In a time when America, the world's leader, is having a terrible energy drought, any actions that can cause disruption of oil supplies and all other transactions will only place greater pressure on America and Europe.  The President of Russia called the leader of Israel and condemned the jet fighter attacks as excessive.

It brings the point that natural change is violently taking its place and that a rude awakening is causing fear upon those.  Humanity is no longer going to be able to hide in their selfishness, but will be forced to choose the right or the wrong.
