InI The Babe and Suckling.com chose to make this the only news report for this week.
There were events that took place this week, but we found a few that needed to be addressed immediately.
This week, Bill O'Reilly from the O'Reilly factor, came out with a host of financial paperwork belonging to Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow Push Coalition. One statement showed that they collected $12 million for an education program, out of that money $1 million went to costs and in 2 years only $47,000 went towards the education program. Anyone who can count, can see that there is a lot of money missing. Now he is not the only one doing this type of racket. There are many groups, Black and White, who collect these type of monies and it never goes to the cause. The saddest part is that the money is collected from the poor and have-not to help the poor and have-not. Yet the people revere these organizations as "do good" work.
Our contention is the people need to stop looking toward everyone else for help besides themselves. This excuse that there are people who cannot do for themselves has been the key to the survival of such groups. The people seem to forget that when they have life, they have hope. It is only a dead man that cannot get assistance. A major part of the problem is laziness. Always wanting to climb on someone else's back for a free ride. No one should be a hypocrite and say that life is an easy matter, but that should not be an excuse not to try. The excuse of stumbling blocks is cheap. For who said that there was not going to be any. The strong should help the weak, not destroy them. Yet, if the weak choose not to help themselves, they should not blame anyone else for their death. We have personally seen people who have been born without their full capacity, physically, mentally, and spiritually, and still have made better strides to betterness than people who have it all. The people have forgotten their natural survival instincts and have taken on the roll of man and people followers.
InI The Babe and Suckling only spend our time seeking knowledge to grow and put out the information that we find, so that whomever is interested can take the facts and do with it as they please. That is how communities should work, share the knowledge amongst the people. Still, we know that we are far and few because the greedy always want to build a dam in the flow of information. The people should know if it is not us, it will be someone else. We have no problem with that because it would satisfy our hearts to know that from our little bit of effort, many have found foundations to build on. We will tell you directly that our cornerstone is HAILE SELASSIE I THE FIRST. The ONE BLACK AFRICAN KING, who is responsible for bringing light where there was dark. Many people who come to our website never make an attempt to go and learn of this man on their own and see and who HE is, as well as you should go and learn about all of the people and history, especially your downpressors. For they only take the words of a few and never go and study and put it all together and come to their own conclusion. For our fellow RastafarI Brethrens and Sistrens, stop the false praising you are dealing with. Do you really think that you can get into Zion as a dunce? Do you think it is just giving Ises, burning herb and talking about how mighty RastafarI is? Do you think that is going to feed the people, clothe the people and give the people shelter? His Majesty's works has already proved itself. Where is yours? Especially the chatterboxes who run their mouth and criticize.
Every man, woman, and child is blessed to be on Earth for the purpose of loving, caring, and sharing. Yes, disagreements and war will always be there because there are those who never strived to keep humility and to be humble is not synonymous with being a sucker. Everyone in life deserves to have the best that life has to offer. When Je-sus the Christ came to Earth, he took on the role of poverty to fight down the scribes and pharisees. For those who don't know Je-sus is a revolutionary. Through his crucifixion, as they put it, he lived to make InI life better. Then millennias after, behold the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah came to break every chain and set the captives free. So there will be no more to come. Prophesy has been fulfilled. There is no more to come, so man must save themselves. For it seems, we the people always put ourselves in captivity and then pray days and nights for someone to come and save us. So, InI will be blunt in telling you, for the fool who want to dwell in captivity, be my guest. For those who know that there is better in life and know it is their God-given right to go and take it, MORE STRENGTH, MORE HONOR, MORE LOVE AND MORE FYAH!

Cameras Spy on People at Super Bowl |
This year's Super Bowl had an extra viewer on hand. While people paid their hard earned money on a ticket to enjoy their yearly sporting event, there were hidden cameras inside and outside of the arena. While fans moved along, there were law officials in rooms scanning the crowd for wanted criminals. They used the hidden cameras to capture still photos and then ran the photos through a police computer while the unsuspecting fans were oblivious. There were no pre-warnings or information given to let the people know that such investigations were being conducted. The reasonings the law gave for the actions were they wanted to prevent any terrorism that could have taken place. It is funny, we wonder who is really being terrorized, the terrorists or the people? |
Black Intellects Hold Black Symposium |
February 2001---A Black Symposium was held, the first of its kind for the new millennium. A variety of Black intellectuals along with religious leaders and the youth came together to speak about a plan of action for the people of Black America. This symposium was spawned from the past Presidential election that woke them up to the problems they have been facing and will be facing in the 21st Century. Especially now that they have a President Select with an administration to match. Speakers ranged from Tavis Smiley, Rev. Al Sharpton, Iyanla Vanzant, and Rep. Maxine Waters, to name a few. |
Deep Racial Divide Bubbling to Surface |
Since the day of the Presidential election, there has been a fire developing that is burning slowly and surely. Many talk shows have aired viewers' opinions on topics related to Black and White issues and there has been heavy resentment on both sides that are being brought forth to the table. The two main topics of deep difference are the election and reparations. Some White viewers expressed the opinion that they are disappointed in the attitudes of Black people and that their foreparents died to free Black people and they have not been paid for that either. Also, they are now stressing the point that Africa should hold some responsibility for the African slave trade and should also have to pay in the reparations, being that they sold their own kind into bondage. On the other hand, some Black viewers called in and defended their positions on both topics that there should be election reform as well as payments of 40 acres and a mule, with interest (reparations). Some Black viewers took more offense to the comments of the White viewers who expressed the opinion that Blacks should not even discuss these topics. So while many are skylarking, there is great animosity brewing amongst the everyday people and those who fight to see unity stand, are losing their integration battle because until the people get justice, there will be no peace. Many Blacks are seeing this hostility and are wondering when they show their love and turn the other cheek, why is it that the happiness only lasts as long as they are accepted on another man's terms? |
New President Of Congo Pledges Action to Bring Peace |
President Joseph Kabila stopped to speak with the new Secretary of State, Colin Powell during his tour of America and Europe. It is reported that the US will work with the Congo's new leader. Some of the problems discussed were gaining control over areas in the region that are still controlled by other military groups from other countries, such as Rwanda. Also discussed was the refugees in the country because of the war and strife with neighboring countries. President Kabila also had talks with the President Paul Kagame of Rwanda and UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. |
Angola President Speaks to Japan about Diamond Trade |
The Angolan President, José Eduardo dos Santos, spoke out against the illegal diamond trade going on by Japanese owned companies. The President expressed much disappointment that the unnecessary bloodshed from the lucrative smuggling is taking a higher toll and needs to be stopped. A statement from Japan's government was not available at the time of this report. |
Capoeira |
About the Capoeira let me give you a sight from today to it's past time. Now-a-days is the moment when we feel the ancestors energy, we keep and develop our Kulcha building everyday strategies to deal with babylon. Is one of the foundations from I N I. We remember our bodies how we use to move before living in babylon, we learn how to deal with every different aspect from human personality (specially the darkest ones)without losing the mood or being short temper. Because we cultivate the truth that love is the key although badness exists and we exercise to laugh from evil seeing the world with the eyes of a Mandigueiro. Because of the music from the Berimbau, the Atabaque and the Pandeiro, the elder (the master) suggests a different strategy and a different mental attitude with the rhythm and the chants he offer. This happens in circle around the Master and the instruments where two brethrens or sistrens go into the circle by time while the others observe, clap hands and answer the chorus following the music and helping building an atmosphere. In the past the Capoeira was almost extinct due to police persecution but survived when black people understood that the fight was cultural more then physical and it hasn't been more than 80 years that Capoeira became legal in Brazil. Of course ignorance is the key of misunderstanding and because of that, very few people practice the Original Capoeira as most of people now see the physical aspect but not the Spiritual and Intellectual sides. In the past it emerges as a necessity of people unarmed to defend from the Portuguese fire armed. When people runaway to the forests they started building Quilombos were they started reorganizing their lives in a strange land. Nations and Cultures were mixed up to make unification more difficult. Capoeira would spread around specially to the city centers. It's really a big story (400 years). |

America goes on the offensive |
February 16,
2001---U.S. and British fighter planes destroyed
communication centers near the city of Baghdad, right outside of the no-fly
zone. The international community condemns these aggressive actions
by the U.S. President George W. Bush. This is taking on the tone of
the obvious continuation of his father's policies towards Iraq. For
those who are not aware, these bombing raids have never stopped since Desert
Storm. This one is only stressed because the hits took place outside of the
illegal no-fly zone. Civilians as well as military personnel were hurt
in the attack, according to Iraqi officials.
History has shown that when a Roman country is in financial difficulty, war and plundering becomes the official policy of the government. Is this the way the people want to start the 21st century? If not, they better be prepared because it has already taken that route. For the old mentality that war shows power is exactly the course the new administration is taking on. To add a footnote to this, Israel did not condemn these attacks and would be foolish to do so or are they wise enough to go along with such actions to get added military support to help fight their cause with their new war hero, Sharon. When the new round of fighting started with Palestine and Israel, Iraq turned its fighting power towards Israel. Other scenarios to this story is that this is the height of the last religious war between the Christians and the Muslims. |
Honesty is the Best Policy--For the Bank |
A Cleveland, Ohio man found $640,000 in the middle of the street after an armored truck dropped the money. The security guard noticed the 2 plastic wrapped packages and tried to get the drivers' attention. He was unsuccessful. After 48 hours of searching who the money belonged to, he returned the money to that banking institution. (Sorry, we didn't get the bank name!) After returning the money, the 2 job working individual expected to receive some kind of reward. (Reward was to be $75,000!) For now, he seems that he will get more a fight than a reward. The bank wants to investigate the whole matter completely. So the next time anyone finds money, what will YOU do?! |
Any warm spot will do |
A gentleman coming from Peru to the U.S. had a very interesting experience while he was waiting at Customs. He was trying to smuggle in parakeet eggs. The eggs were carried on his person, in different areas. One of the areas picked is one of the warmest spots on the human body, the crotch. His warmth gave the motherly nurturing care the eggs needed to hatch. And so they did! We are almost sure everyone can finish the story!!! |
Billy Comes to Harlem |
Former President Bill Clinton was forced or accepted into the Harlem community. His original plan to have an office space in Midtown Manhattan, NY was fought by the Mayor of New York and a host of other entities. For half the money, he is getting a new office space on 125th Street in Harlem, NY. For some residents of the neighborhood, it is a terrible split. On one hand, the pricing in the area has skyrocketed and has caused landlords to force out people who have lived in the neighborhood for over 50 years, some generations. On the other hand, Harlem's development and having a former President doing business brings new opportunities as well as challenges. It will be the people's duty to be sure to know that when using certain bait, you will catch certain fish, but to be mindful of which waters you fish in. |
Palestinian Bus Driver, Kills 8 and Wounds Many Others |
A Palestinian bus driver who is registered to drive legally in Israel, drove his bus into an unsuspecting crowd of people awaiting the bus. His actions caused 8 deaths and 16 others to be injured. As the bus driver tried to escape, he crashed the bus and was captured by Israeli police. |
Christians and Muslims can learn a lesson from H.I.M |
It has been reported that the rift between Christians and Muslims
in Africa is the cause of most of the conflicts on the continent. This
issue is gaining more attention of the world community and Black intellectuals
because with so much humanitarian problems, Africa does not need to be at
war over religion. It is being noted that a lot of aid and infrastructure
building is being halted due to such actions.
History has proven that all of the world's wars have been brought about starting with religion, and has always been about religion and its ideologies. H.I.M Emperor Haile Selassie I is a Christian King of a long line of Christian Kings that used His authority to bring love amongst all religions. For history will show that Ethiopia gave shelter to Islam in its time of need as well as H.I.M built a Mosque and a Christian Church across from one another to represent that different faiths can still represent ONE nation as ETHIOPIAN AFRICANS. |

A study reported this past week showed that hate crimes have taken a sharp increase. It is becoming one of the problems the U.S. administration will be forced to face as a National Security problem. Hate is an INTERNAL CANCER that is spreading as one of the fastest plagues. As the economical situation declines for ALL people of America, there will be a few that will take on the blame game. Individuals that will do themselves a justice by being awake and learning the realities of what is really harming them will be those who will take critical looks at themselves before spitting in the sky. For the way things are now, bloodshed will only be inevitable until justice brings peace for ALL sides. |

How Hot is your Home? |
One of the many marijuana growing cases came to the US Supreme
Court this week. This case is significant because it speaks towards the issue
of invasion of privacy.
A man was arrested in his home for cultivation of marijuana. He argues that law enforcement used a helicopter that has heat seeking night vision technology to measure the temperature of his home in comparison to his neighbors' homes. Being that his house was warmer because he had legal plant lights in use, just like any other home or nursery which uses the same systems. This gave justification for the law to invade his home and bring him to his present day situation. These efforts to eradicate the peoples' choice and the sanctity of the right to live and pursue the reality of happiness is just more proof of a system that was neither made for the people nor by the people and it will continue to destroy the people. |
Direct Flights to and from Lagos, Nigeria |
After more than a decade, the ban has been lifted for direct flights from the US to Nigeria. Beginning in March, you can take a flight from New York, US to Lagos, Nigeria. There will be three direct flights every week. |

IN REGARDS TO the Trial of Yeshiwork Desta Zedwu AN Ethiopian
woman which has brought to light the abusive conditions of Ethiopian women
and their rights within their country and the fact when they seek employment
outside their country to support their family, are consequently being sent
to countries as slave labor, to sustain even more abusive behavior, including
rape, beatings and burnings.
SELAM, In Conjunction And Under Jurisdiction Of The Lion Of Judah Mission of New York will be holding a Protest March to appeal the U.N., the Ethiopian Mission to the U.N., the Bahrain Consulate and the public at large to take issue with this matter. This will be done during National Woman’s month where the U.N. hosts women from all countries, mostly that of African Countries. When: Friday, March 16, 2001 Where: We will be gathering at Dag Hammerskold Plaza (47th between 1st and 2nd) at 11:00 am. We will protest the U.N., specifically targeting our protests to Olaru Ottonu who is responsible for the mal treatment of women and children in Africa. At 12:30 we will leave and walk up to 866 2nd (between 45th an 46th) Avenue, the Ethiopian mission to the U.N. At 2pm we will then walk down 43rd to 2 United Nations, where we will be finishing up our protest in front of the Bahrain consulate by 3:00pm. We ask ones to come forward to support, bring drums and signs if you can!! It is our duty as a consciousness to not let this occur without voicing our protest!! |

The Bermuda-based Dread and Baha Productions and Peace Production in association with the Friends of the United Nations and the Barbados community are presenting a concert in Barbados featuring Jamaican superstar, Bunny Wailer at the Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, Saturday, March 17th 2001 and a Conference - The Model Path to Repatriation at the Sherbourne Conference Centre, Wednesday, March 21st 2001 which is the International Day for the Eradication of Racism. First off, let I give thanks to the father for the blessing of being able to communicate to sistren and brethren here on the web, down in babylon, because the captive don't wanna know the truth here, so I give some truth to I brethren and I sistren. THE BEAST: Rev. 13:1-And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 3-And I saw one of his heads as it were woulded to death; and his deadly would was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. Reasoning- This is the first beast mentioned in revelation, whose deadly would was healed. Pope John Paul is his name. He's the head of blaspemy in Babylon with the Anti-Christianity. He got shot and his wound was healed and he continues to rule. He continues to do miracles in the sight of the nation so they will workship and wander after him. Rev. 13:11-And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12-And he excerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therin to workship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13-And he doth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14-And decieveth them that dwell on earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. Reasoning: Notice now that we are talking about a second beast. 13 verses 1 thru 10 talk about the Pope, whose deadly wound was healed, versus 11 thru 18 talks about the newest beast, Bush. "And I beheld another beast", he excerciseth the same power of the first beast before him, Bush does alot of what the Pope does, mislead people with the stupid things he's been doing since his 1 month in office. Dropping bombs on people, spending money for more church houses and helping spread the first beasts, Pope John Paul, Christianity, which he is a follower of. The first beast and the second beast are here on earth, two signs showing that we are living in the last times. if you read in verse 16, "Ad he causeth both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to recieve a mark in their right hand or forehead: and that no man might buy or sell, save he had the mark, or the name of the beast or the number of his name. Yes Jah children, think wise and know for a surety that this prophesy will be fulfilled as like all the others in the bible, Bush has been in office for 1 month, already being wicked and evil, 3 years and 11 months (hopefully) left. AND ALL SHOULD KNOW THAT ONCE THIS BEAST FALLS, ITS PRETTY MUCH THE END, READ REVELATION. so more than just reasoning about the beast, its time to put on the armor of righteousness for Jah so we can be saved from falling down in the pit WITH the beast. Stamps and Envelopes |
Believe it or not! If you lick your envelopes....You won't
anymore!!!!!
A woman was working in a post office in California and one day she licked the envelopes and postage stamps instead of using a sponge. That very day the lady cut her tongue on the envelope. A week later, she noticed an abnormal swelling of her tongue. She went to the doctor, and they found nothing wrong. Her tongue was not sore or anything. A couple of days later, her tongue started to swell more, and it began to get really sore, so sore, that she could not eat. She went back to the hospital, and demanded something be done. The doctor, took an x-ray of her tongue, and noticed a lump. He prepared her for minor surgery. When the doctor cut her tongue open, a live roach crawled out. There were roach eggs on the seal of the envelope. The egg was able to hatch inside of her tongue, because of her saliva. It was warm and moist... This is a true story reported on CNN.
